In our laboratory, we integrate a wide range of advanced characterization tools to investigate<br \/>\n                      the <strong>morphological, structural, optical, electrical, and chemical<\/strong> properties of nanostructures and sensor systems.<\/p>\n<p>We combine <strong>surface-sensitive<\/strong> and <strong>spectroscopic techniques<\/strong> to obtain a complete picture of the devices we develop. Key instruments include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)<\/strong> for high-resolution topography and roughness analysis at the nanoscale.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)<\/strong> to visualize surface morphology and structural fidelity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Raman and Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS)<\/strong> for vibrational fingerprinting and molecular detection at ultra-low concentrations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometry<\/strong> for optical absorbance and transmission studies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fluorescence Microscopy and Confocal Imaging<\/strong> for spatial mapping of functional layers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>X-ray Diffraction (XRD)<\/strong> and <strong>Energy-dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS)<\/strong> for structural and elemental composition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These characterization methods are central to optimizing fabrication protocols, validating reproducibility, and improving sensor sensitivity and specificity. Our work places strong emphasis on <strong>correlative analysis<\/strong>                      \u2014 linking physical structure to optical performance, or biological functionalization to chemical response \u2014 to guide iterative design and development cycles.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, we employ <strong>automated mapping and data acquisition systems<\/strong> that allow high-throughput measurements across large sample areas, ensuring statistical significance and spatial resolution in our results. These<br \/>\n                      systems are often integrated with custom MATLAB and Python scripts for real-time processing, visualization, and database archiving.<\/p>\n<p>By using a multidisciplinary toolkit, we ensure that every device we fabricate is <strong>scientifically validated, functionally reliable, and ready for real-world application<\/strong>.
